Are 99% of the "churches" out there fakes teaching the traditions of men mixed with bits of the Bible? How are you gonna know a false teaching from a true one if you don't know the Bible WELL? How can you love God? 2 ways: 1.) God says in 1st John chapter 5 verse 3: "This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome." But how can you know his commands unless you read his living words (Hebrews 4:12) in the Bible, which can save you? (James 1:21)
See a Church of Christ member for details, or *gasp* actually read the Bible!
Any version contains God's basic message of Salvation which is this: Believe that
Jesus is God's only Son who never sinned, but was beaten, flogged, and crucified
to death for your sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. Repent
of what you know to be sin, and be baptized in the name of Jesus, The Father,
and His Holy Spirit, and then try and love God with all your heart, soul, mind,
and strength.
2.) Read his love letters in the Bible and you will fall in love emotionally as well.
If you want to succeed, read your Bible everyday, and do what it says.
See you on Judgment day.
When you die, as we all must, you will find yourself in Heaven...or Hell: Purgatory,
the fictional but popular and comforting sentiment from the Vatican that allows
one to change his spiritual condition after death,, is NOT in the Bible or mentioned
by Jesus or the Prophets.
And if you are counting on tomorrow to get right with God, consider what Jesus said in Luke 12:19,
" I'll say to myself, 'You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.' But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you.'"

| John 3:5 5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Mark 16:15 Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. Acts 22:14 14 "Then he said: 'The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. 15 You will be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.' Romans 6:3 3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. Romans 6:8 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. Matthew 3:16 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. Acts 8:35 35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. 36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?" Acts 8:38 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. 1 Peter 3:18 18. For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 19 through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison 20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21. and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-- not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ... Acts 2:36 36 "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." 37. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" 38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-- for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:41 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Galatians 3:26 26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Colossians 2:11 11 In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead. 13. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, |
